To create an SUV that can adapt to the demands of a career, family life, and recreation, INFINITI called upon a team of skilled female designers and engineers to bring the 2022 QX60 to life. To document their hard work and talent, INFINITI created a four-part short film series, “The Voices of QX60: Meet the Women Who Powered the All-New QX60.”
In this series, the leading ladies of the QX60 design team discuss how their personal experiences helped them create the sophisticated luxury SUV. INFINITI Color Designer Sayuri Nakashima drew upon her Japanese heritage to craft the QX60’s Zen-like interior design and serene color choices. When working on creating a vehicle that’s suited to both a career and family life, Trisha Jung considered her busy lifestyle as the Director for Pricing and Incentives and Model Line Management.
Durability Test Engineer Heather Kniep utilized her passion for cars and her expert engineering skills to refine the QX60’s new all-wheel-drive technology. Senior Design Manager Michelle Christensen led the project by finding inspiration in the innovative QX60 Monograph concept.
Even as luxurious and advanced as the QX50 is, INFINITI was able to find ways to improve upon the luxury SUV with new standard features. From advanced technology updates to more premium materials from front to back, it doesn’t get much better than the 2022 INFINITI QX50.
For 2022, the QX50 is equipped with an exciting suite of features. To start, all models now come with wireless Apple CarPlay® compatibility and ProPILOT™ Assist technology. But the innovative inclusions don’t stop there. All grades also come with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, LED welcome lights on the rear door handles, USB-C chargers for rear passengers, and rear door-activated Intelligent Key entry.
Inside, the elegance of the QX50 is elevated by contrast-colour stitching and piping for the seats as well as convenient amenities like dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, and a Wi-Fi® hotspot for up to seven devices.
Power is also standard, thanks to the 2.0-litre VC-Turbo engine that delivers 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. That engine is paired to an XTRONIC® CVT with Downshift Rev Matching and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. When combined with the QX50’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, you have ultimate control behind the wheel.
The stylish and turbocharged 2022 INFINITI Q60 is here, and it’s better than ever before. With new tech upgrades, an award-winning turbo engine, and a head-turning exterior, it’s easy to see why so many are choosing the new INFINITI Q60 — available at INFINITI Downtown.
Under the hood of the new Q60 is a VR-series 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that generates a thrilling 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. For even more performance, opt for the Q60 RED SPORT I-LINE that increases output to 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
One of the new tech features for the 2022 Q60 is the inclusion of standard wireless Apple CarPlay® compatibility, making it even more convenient to use your favourite apps on the go. Every model is also equipped with a high-resolution INFINITI InTouch dual touch-screen display and INFINITI InTouch Services telematics that comes with a convenient Wi-Fi hotspot.
Available in eight colours, like Grand Blue and Dynamic Sunstone Red, you’ll catch the attention of everyone in the 2022 INFINITI Q60 coupe. The standard 19-inch wheels create a dominating stance, but you can go even bigger on the Q60 RED SPORT I-LINE and its exclusive 20-inch aluminum-alloy sport wheels. In the back are dual exhaust tips with chrome or brushed satin finishers.

As a part of the INFINITI lineup since 2012, the QX60 is a signature SUV that offers style, sophistication, and substance. INFINITI decided to skip the 2021 model year for the large SUV and instead jumped ahead to 2022, offering much more refinement and advanced updates.
“The all-new 2022 INFINITI QX60 was designed with busy lives — friends, family, community — in mind,” said Eric Rigaux, INFINITI Global Head of Product Strategy. “We focused on creating a serene environment inside that’s beautiful and practical, packed with new INFINITI IQ technology. In so many ways, the all-new QX60 is not just spacious, but stunning, and smart.”
Indeed, the 2022 QX60 is both stylish and modern. The exterior is sleeker than ever before and its interior is just as appealing. Inside, you’ll find available features like quilted semi-aniline leather, open-pore wood trim, and much more.
It’s not all about style, though. All QX60 models are equipped with an exhilarating 3.5-litre V6 paired with a new nine-speed automatic transmission. When you’re searching for a new car, you want to know that it will last a while and provide good value throughout its lifetime. That’s why Kelley Blue Book frequently analyzes vehicles across all segments to determine which models are worth buying. The winner of the 2021 KBB 5-Year Cost to Own award in the luxury full-size SUV category was the INFINITI QX80.
What that means is that you get more for your money with the QX80. KBB looks at total ownership cost, which includes factors like expected fuel costs, typical maintenance and repair costs, depreciation, and insurance fees. All in all, KBB calculated that you could save more than $12,000 CAD by choosing the QX80 over competitors in its segment.
“We are thrilled to have the QX80 honored with a Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Award,” said Jeff Pope, Group Vice President of INFINITI Americas. “For model-year 2021, the QX80 has been enhanced with new equipment, innovative technologies, and stylish features befitting its luxury status. It’s fantastic to have this vehicle recognized by such a credible third party five years running.”
Those updates and upscale features certainly helped the 2021 QX80 stand out. KBB editor Matt DeLorenzo said he was particularly impressed with the QX80’s “plush, well-appointed cabin,” especially with standard amenities like quilted leather seating, tri-zone climate control, navigation, and the 13-speaker Bose® audio system.
We could go on for days about how incredible this SUV truly is, but you can learn much more about the 2021 INFINITI QX80 when you visit our team here at INFINITI Downtown in Toronto.
When you want the most advanced safety technologies, look no further than the 2022 INFINITI QX60. This all-new luxury will be the first INFINITI model to feature the latest ProPILOT Assist technology.
The updated version of this safety technology enhances the way it supports the driver. It uses an array of sensors and cameras with navigation information to help make your daily drive easier. ProPILOT Assist knows when upcoming curves mean the QX60 needs to slow down and can detect when you need to slow down on an off-ramp. It can also essentially drive your QX60 for you in stop-and-go traffic jams with an extended automatic restart system.
The 2022 QX60 will also come equipped with Traffic Sign Recognition, which will detect vital information like speed limits from road signs ahead, alerting you with notifications on the instrument cluster or available head-up display.
The system proactively brakes sooner and more softly, too, making for an enjoyable ride. Steering assistance is more natural, and the new QX60 will be able to maintain its speed while going downhill better if you’re using the advanced Intelligent Cruise Control system.
