INFINITI QX80 Wins 2021 KBB 5-Year Cost to Own Award | Toyota, ON

When you’re searching for a new car, you want to know that it will last a while and provide good value throughout its lifetime. That’s why Kelley Blue Book frequently analyzes vehicles across all segments to determine which models are worth buying. The winner of the 2021 KBB 5-Year Cost to Own award in the luxury full-size SUV category was the INFINITI QX80.

What that means is that you get more for your money with the QX80. KBB looks at total ownership cost, which includes factors like expected fuel costs, typical maintenance and repair costs, depreciation, and insurance fees. All in all, KBB calculated that you could save more than $12,000 CAD by choosing the QX80 over competitors in its segment.

“We are thrilled to have the QX80 honored with a Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Award,” said Jeff Pope, Group Vice President of INFINITI Americas. “For model-year 2021, the QX80 has been enhanced with new equipment, innovative technologies, and stylish features befitting its luxury status. It’s fantastic to have this vehicle recognized by such a credible third party five years running.”

Those updates and upscale features certainly helped the 2021 QX80 stand out. KBB editor Matt DeLorenzo said he was particularly impressed with the QX80’s “plush, well-appointed cabin,” especially with standard amenities like quilted leather seating, tri-zone climate control, navigation, and the 13-speaker Bose® audio system.

We could go on for days about how incredible this SUV truly is, but you can learn much more about the 2021 INFINITI QX80 when you visit our team here at INFINITI Downtown in Toronto.

INFINITI continues to win big in the automotive industry. The 2021 QX50 luxury SUV recently received the 2021 Consumer Guide® Automotive Best Buy Award in the Premium Compact Crossover segment.

The 2021 QX50 earned recognition from Consumer Guide’s panel of judges based on its stylish design and innovative VC-Turbo engine, which uses variable compression to deliver on-demand efficiency and power.

“In a class of vehicles that can be surprisingly expensive, the QX50 shines not only for value, but for a deft balance of refinement and sportiness,” said Tom Appel, the publisher of Consumer Guide.

For the 2021 model year, the QX50 comes with more standard equipment than ever before. It features acoustic laminated front side glass for a quieter cabin, along with a Wi-Fi hotspot and safety features like Automatic Collision Notification with emergency call and rear seat-mounted side-impact supplemental airbags.

You can also opt for available features like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, a Head-Up Display, and driver-assistance features like ProPILOT Assist, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, and Lane Departure Warning.

This is the third consecutive year that the QX50 has earned this honour. To earn the award, the QX50 was compared to all other vehicles in its segment and put through grueling tests by a panel of judges.
